Jon Hargis
I began my career with AT&T as an entry level sales person after completing my BA degree in Business at Otterbein University. I was a top Sales person in a matter of a few years. I went to school at night at Wright State University for my MBA degree. I was quickly promoted to Sales Leadership positions. I was running National Sales Channels for AT&T in my 30's. I went to AT&T Headquarters in Basking Ridge, NJ and started to do Marketing Leadership jobs from 1995 through 2000. During that time I was doing Marketing partnership deals with several Cable Companies. Cablevision was one of these companies and they offered me the CMO position at their company. I left Cablevision in 2012 and joined Charter Communications as CMO and Head Of Sales. During my time at Charter we acquired both Time Warner Cable and Brighthouse Communications. I led the integration of these companies with a go to market brand of Spectrum. We had substantial growth during my tenure with Charter My 25,000 person sales force was executing the market strategy for growth. The company is now a $51B a year company. Besides Marketing and Sales I was responsible for Pricing, Promotional Offers, and all Distribution Channels.
