Steven Temares
Steven Temares was born in the Bronx, New York, and raised in Paramus, New Jersey.
Steven formerly served as CEO of retailer Bed Bath & Beyond, where he was responsible for day-to-day operations of the company and its subsidiaries for twenty-two years. Steven was also formerly a minority owner of Major League Baseball’s New York Mets and sat on the team’s Advisory Board, and is currently a minority owner in Gotham FC, the New York Metropolitan area Womens' professional soccer team. He currently serves as an advisor for, and investor in, various early stage companies, as well as is an owner/partner in a number of real estate properties.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University – where he has emeritus status on the University’s Foundation Board, and previously served on the Board of Trustees. In addition, Steven has his Juris Doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
