Since our founding, New York Angels has been an important source of capital for local early-stage companies.  Now, with $167M+ invested in over 330 companies, our reach has extended nationally and internationally. Our members' investment in a given deal vary from $100k to $1.5M, and we often lead deals which are at the higher end of that range. 

NYA Members individually invest in early-stage companies across a broad range of industries including: Life Sciences and Medical Devices, SaaS, FinTech, Consumer Products, Gaming, AI, Cleantech and Advanced Materials.

Investment Beyond Capital

While entrepreneurs seek out angel investors for their capital, New York Angels is continuously recognized for offering unparalleled access to counsel and connections as well. Most New York Angels Members have long careers and domain-expertise in industries prior to becoming an angel investor. Founders commonly share that the mentoring from NYA members provide during both the startup fundraising process and post-investment is unlike any other early-stage investor.

As one of the oldest angel investment groups in the country, New York Angels Members are also heavily integrated in the early-stage investment community. Each NYA member offers their own network of connections to help support their founders.
