Robert Hedlund

Rob Hedlund is currently focusing on investing in private companies, both start-ups and mature businesses.
From 2009 to 2024, Rob was an institutional investor in corporate credit, most recently with General Atlantic, a global investment firm. Prior to GA he was a founding partner of two credit investment platforms, River Birch Capital and Iron Park Capital (acquired by GA in 2023). He was previously an investment banker with Lehman Brothers from 1986-2008, where he focused on high yield bond and leveraged loan origination and syndication. Rob is a true generalist with experience analyzing almost every type of business.
Rob received an AB from Princeton University and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
