Evan Gogel is a highly experienced operator and investor. He is currently a Venture Chair at Redesign Health, serving on the boards of Vault Health, Parker & Ace, UpCare, and Trampoline AI. He was Redesign Health's first Head of Operations and held several leadership roles across the Redesign portfolio. He was a co-founder and CEO of Vault Health, which was a major player in fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, generating >$1 billion in COVID testing and vaccination revenue before being acquired by Sterling Check (Nasdaq: STER).

 

Before Redesign, Evan ran the seed portfolio for McKinsey New Ventures, a portfolio of high-growth software and advanced analytics assets. As a portfolio manager, he managed the sourcing, screening, and investment process for more than 50 digital assets (>$500 million in revenue). Prior to this, Evan was an Engagement Manager in McKinsey’s New York office, where he specialized in launching direct-to-consumer offerings for clients in the Consumer, Healthcare, and Financial Services sectors, with a particular focus on digital marketing and pricing.

 

Evan began his career as an investor at the Yale Investments Office and has held several other roles across early and growth stage investing. Evan graduated Yale University, cum laude, in Ethics, Politics, & Economics. He also holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
