MaryAnn Bekkedahl
MaryAnn Bekkedahl has been a leader of sales, marketing, and operations teams for established and early stage media, ad tech and e-commerce companies.
Her early career in data-based market research followed a BS in mathematics and statistics from The University of Michigan. She spent 17 years at Rodale, eventually leading all advertising revenue (~$300M and 200 people) for the company, and managing global P & Ls for 10 prominent lifestyle media brands including Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, Runner’s World and more. She made the move to entrepreneurial leadership in 2010, co-founding an ad tech/eCommerce company that raised $43M of VC funding.
MaryAnn was named “Publishing Executive of the Year” by AdWeek at the height of print media in the early 2000’s, and successfully transferred her leadership skills into eCommerce, driving high margin revenue that contributed to the $2.16Bn BigCommerce IPO in 2020.
She is an international media pioneer, leader of high growth revenue teams, ad tech and eCommerce entrepreneur and passionate investor of both time and money in innovative services and technology.
