Steve is an active member of the New York/ Boston/ Philadelphia early stage investment community through the New York Angels (NYA, Treasurer), Exec-in-Residence with Princeton University, former partner with the Clean Energy Venture Group (CEVG), and participation on the boards of a number of companies and advising companies through involvement as a Senior Board Advisor via Haven Partners, LLC.
Additionally, he brings an international perspective from a consulting career spanning 35+ years with advanced technology companies leading their launch of new products, services and capabilities - taking them from strategy to market operation. Steve launched Accentures Communications/ High Tech and Utilities businesses across Greater China with over 10 years as Managing Partner. Through the launch of a world-first commercial video streaming service and consumer broadband ISP in Hong Kong in 1997, he helped create one of the early Accenture companies - Imagine Broadband, LLC - where he was the COO, Asia-Pacific.
Following his time in Asia, he returned to the US to lead the Cable/ Satellite business as Managing Partner, North America. From 2008-2010 he co-founded the startup - Haven Energy Partners - targeting financing of renewable energy funding for mid-market companies. Following this, Steve expanded his international perspective by leading the global Media Industry Group and founding the Business Innovations business unit of Bangalore-based Wipro Technologies. Since then he has been teaching in the MBA Capstone program at Temple University in Philadelphia and active within the entrepreneurial world as an investor and advisor for early stage companies.
