Phil began a career in finance in institutional equity sales at Bear Stearns in 1990. In 1992, he transitioned to Merrill Lynch. In 30+ years with Merrill Lynch and Bank of America Merrill Lynch, he has held leadership roles as Senior Vice President in Global Banking and Markets (~20yrs) and Private Client divisions (~10yrs).
In his current role as a Senior Financial Advisor, Phil creates customized financial plans and manage assets for ultra high-net-worth individuals and their families.
As an Institutional Equity Salesperson, he managed Hedge Fund and long-only Mutual Fund relationships. Roles included marketing the firm’s equity research, IPO and add-on offerings, generating equity and cross asset ideas, prime brokerage and execution services, also working closely with research analysts, traders, and Equity Capital Markets.
Beyond professional life, Phil has been involved in mentoring and giving back to the community. he served as a mentor for Student Sponsor Partners, an organization focused on providing educational opportunities to underprivileged students, and is currently a mentor with American Corporate Partners, an organization that guides and supports military veterans transitioning to civilian careers.
