Elaine Gilde

Elaine Gilde leads NYA’s membership committee and strategic initiatives, including as an administrator of NYA's sidecar investment funds. Elaine was a founding board member of NYA and served again from 2015-2023. Elaine has a diverse portfolio of investments, focusing on business services and FinTech. She sits on corporate boards and advisory boards and has guided start-ups through complex financings and successful exits. Elaine was a managing director at a private equity firm and led merchant banking transactions as an investment banker. She began her career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company. Elaine has been on the boards of non-profits seeking to move women onto corporate boards and into senior leadership roles in corporations and in the political sphere. Elaine holds an A.B. from Harvard College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
