Mr. Benny Lorenzo is the founder of B.L. Capital Partners, L.P. and Aspira Capital Partners, L.P., a long/short hedge fund in the NYC area since 1996. He is the former Chairman and CEO of Kaufman Bros. L.P., an investment bank and securities broker dealer focusing on the Technology Media Telecommunications Green Tech and Healthcare sectors.
Mr. Lorenzo has over 40 years experience in the Information Technology industry with more than 10 years serving as a senior operating manager with IBM & ATT and over 30 years as a financial services executive in Wall Street. He was a contributing editor for a regular industry newspaper column for nearly a decade covering the Information Technology and Logistics sectors. Mr. Lorenzo was born in the Dominican Republic and serves as a member of the Dominican Studies Institute Advisory Board within City College of New York (CCNY). He is also a member of the Uptown - West Bronx Vanguard founded by Congressman Adriano Espaillat (NYS District #13) serving as Chair of the Small Business & Economic Development Committee.
