My professional background is investing, 25 years on Wall street, Buy and Sell side, I think as an investor when i approach a startup. i prefer to be actively involved in the early phases of a startup. Having built a couple of startups myself and been actively involved in successfully taking a startup from inception, through to IPO and onto a $1bn mkt cap, I have gained an understanding of what it takes to become a successful startup.
