New York Angels is proud to announce our members' latest sidecar fund - NYA Fund 2024 - closed with $2.47 million of committed capital and 57 members participating. On both measures, this is record-level participation in an NYA fund. Due to the high level of participation, the Fund will be able to make no fewer than 16 investments, which supports our core objective of diversification.
The Fund pools money from individual NYA members to co-invest in the group's most popular deals. This increases portfolio diversity for NYA members and increases funds available to some of our most promising portfolio companies. NYA funds operate on a rules-based approach, investing only when individual angel investments cross certain investment thresholds.
